I did this doodle awhile back, and I wanted to attempt more practice at modeling with my creature design.

The base model was done in Maya and then finished in Zbrush.

What I have for final model for the Organic Modeling 1 class. I whipped up a basic hair mesh in Maya a few days ago and then tried to sculpt it into something in Zbrush, just because the model looked bizarre without hair. Mostly a placeholder for now.

I modeled it with the mouth open because I wasn't sure if we were going to have to rig it or put teeth in. Turns out we aren't so it looks silly.

I started this about four weeks ago. Our homework for that class has been to do a basic human hand and a basic human head in Maya (we were all supposed to pick a famous person since there would be more references that way). We were told to leave the mouth open and not to do hair yet.
