I don't remember if I posted this, hopefully I'm not double-posting. Finally getting around to posting some of the older stuff. This from almost a year ago, part of a final for a class. We were given notes on different books book and told to design off it. I haven't read this book but a family that wrestles gators was hard to pass up.

Done for part of a final, just WIP shots I remembered to take. First time doing this kind of thing, so it's definitely got growing pains, but it's kind of fun and I wouldn't mind practicing more.

We could do our own animal or do Nala and work from a model sheet.

Finished homework for Advanced Perspective. We had to do one drawing showing a horizon line at head height, foot level, and torso, and we had to do something with a general samurai theme.

Some of the drawings I did during Clothed Figure 2. Also some drawings I did while I was on a plane with the seat TVs on. (sorry about the graininess on those, I don't have a scanner down here).

What I have for final model for the Organic Modeling 1 class. I whipped up a basic hair mesh in Maya a few days ago and then tried to sculpt it into something in Zbrush, just because the model looked bizarre without hair. Mostly a placeholder for now.

I modeled it with the mouth open because I wasn't sure if we were going to have to rig it or put teeth in. Turns out we aren't so it looks silly.

First attempt at Z-brush. This post is the equivalent of me bumbling in the dark, so don't laugh. 8D Also a question for the more experienced 3D people on the f-list: is there any way to change the hotkeys that move the camera around, because it's driving me crazy not to be able to do it the Maya way. (there probably is, I just have no idea where)

WIP 6 so far. We're supposed to do the whole Zbrush thing to it after the break. I have never used Zbrush before.

This may turn out questionable.

I started this about four weeks ago. Our homework for that class has been to do a basic human hand and a basic human head in Maya (we were all supposed to pick a famous person since there would be more references that way). We were told to leave the mouth open and not to do hair yet.

Here's what I have so far. It will probably change later.

I'd like to work more on my animation final (as in finish it and clean up a lot) before I ever post it, so that's going to have to sit on the side for now.

Done for the Intro to Animation midterm. Added the butterfly back in and tried to have it match a bit more to the flour sack. I would have liked to slow some parts of the actions down but we weren't supposed to go past the 120 frame limit, so this is what I'm stuck with at the moment. :(
